Asylum Access

Andres Aguirre was born in Quito, Ecuador, and is currently in his fourth year studying law. Through his studies, he has become interested and focused in the area of Human Rights. Andres views Human Rights as a daily urgency, a basic necessity for the proper development of our society. The plight of refugees in Ecuador is a topic that is drawing more awareness, however there are few authorities that are dedicated to this topic. Refugees in Ecuador are usually unaware of their rights, and have urgent needs. He says, "It's for this reason that I have decided to work with refugees, because I know that my small contribution will help with the success of this huge project."
