Amelia Hight

Amelia Hight graduated cum laude from Scripps College in 2005 with a degree in International Relations and Politics. Upon graduation, she was awarded the highly competitive Thomas J. Watson Fellowship to research the politics behind genocide memorials and museums in Cambodia, Rwanda and Central Europe. Through her studies, research and travel abroad, Amelia visited 14 countries on 4 continents and witnessed both the most amazing and most tragic aspects of the human race. Eager to remain on the ground in California, yet wanting to stay involved in international issues and conflict resolution, Amelia joined Asylum Access in May 2006 to help develop the Thailand Program. Amelia also works part-time for CorpWatch, a corporate watchdog organization based in Oakland.
