Angie Volz graduated with a degree in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to joining Asylum Access, she acquired extensive experience as a paralegal in the field of immigration law. Angie developed an interest in refugee rights, and has since volunteered at various organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Refugee Transitions, the International Rescue Committee (IRC), and the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies (CGRS), UC Hastings College of Law. Angie is currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations, focusing on human rights and international law.
